The Department of Music presents “Bat Boy: The Musical,” a Singer’s Theatre Workshop production, directed by Belinda Andrews-Smith.

“Bat Boy: The Musical” is based on a Weekly World News story about a half-boy, half-bat creature found living in a cage in West Virginia. The musical pokes fun at society’s treatment of people who are different through big production numbers, ringing gospel songs, and love duets. This darkly funny musical is a must see for B movie aficionados and music theater fans.
